I've always believed that traveling is a way to broaden your mind, immerse yourself in history, and savor the world's beauty. Hawaii has long been on my bucket list, and thanks to LATINA Style Magazine and Southwest Airlines, I finally had the opportunity to visit the breathtaking island of Oahu in Hawaii..

Oahu is home to some of the most stunning beaches I've ever seen, featuring pristine white sands and crystal-clear turquoise waters. Driving through the island, you're enveloped by lush greenery and awe-inspiring mountains. Although I grew up in Colorado and am familiar with mountainous landscapes, the mountains in Hawaii are the most spectacular I've ever encountered. The locals are incredibly warm and welcoming, and they share fascinating and often inspiring stories about the island.

Some of my most unforgettable experiences included touring the Kualoa Ranch on ATVs, taking a doors-off helicopter tour, visiting the Dole Plantation, and enjoying the freshest pineapple Dole Whip while getting lost in the maze. I also can't forget the delectable poke and Hawaiian shaved ice! While I opted for an adventurous and thrilling approach to experiencing Hawaii, there are countless other activities to enjoy. Hawaii is truly a destination worth visiting.
