Women of ALPFA

The Women of ALPFA initiative was launched in 2002 by the Association of Latino Professionals for America (ALPFA). The initiative was created to offer networking and development opportunities for ALPFA's Latina members and companies that want to reach them. Women of ALPFA (WOA) is dedicated to empowering and developing Latinas as leaders of character for the nation, in every sector of the global economy, through leadership development, networking, mentoring, and career opportunities. Women of ALPFA provides the scaffolding to inspire and elevate Latinas to reach their full potential in classrooms, workplaces, families, and corporate boardrooms. Through the Women of ALPFA and Most Powerful Latinas programs, ALPFA affects societal change through the education, amplification, and career elevation of Latinas.

“We are at a pivotal moment where the talent, resilience, and contributions of Latinas are being recognized and celebrated more than ever before,” shares Jennylee Ramos, Chief Operating Officer, Association of Latino Professionals for America (ALPFA). “I believe that with the continued support of organizations like ALPFA, we will see a significant increase in Latina representation in executive roles, on corporate boards, and as key decision-makers shaping the future of industries and communities. My vision is that by 2030, we will have Latina leaders not just in every Fortune 1000 company but also in leading innovative startups, driving policy change, and creating lasting impact in their communities. Latinas will play a crucial role in driving innovation, advocating for diversity and inclusion, and leading initiatives that create meaningful change. By 2030, I foresee Latinas not only achieving significant milestones in their careers but also becoming powerful voices in shaping the cultural and economic landscape of our nation.”
